Susan Slocum Dyer is an elementary teacher who works in high needs villages across Alaska. A solo-traveler, she records her adventures in both watercolors and prose. Her work has recently been published in Alaska Young Fishermen's Almanac Volume 2, Permafrost Literary Journal and Sky Island Journal.
