speaking (1)
Colin Lodewick
I want a new
language; I try
to think of one
at night. I place
the words,
drops of sugar water,
string them with
devil-hands. It
would sound like
a humming, your
favorite sounds, the
feeling of a hand
on your throat.
I want a new language,
one that can never
be spoken.
I overheard you say that this, too, is a species of self-discovery.
